The Traitors alum Freddie Fraser has said he is bisexual, after sharing a series of photobooth snaps with his new boyfriend one year on from splitting with his girlfriend.

The 22-year-old had not previously spoken about his sexuality, but has now said he began to explore his queerness six months ago, after his new partner, Bailey Ramsden, slid into his DMs.

Ramsden, a fellow social media influencer, had been regularly popping up on Fraser’s Instagram in recent weeks, prompting speculation they might be more than friends.

The snaps of the pair kissing in a photo booth, which Fraser said he posted after taking shots with his boyfriend, hard-launched that they are indeed dating.

The Traitors star has now said they’re very much in love, during an appearance on the Not My Bagg podcast. He went on to detail how he realised he was bisexual a few months ago, describing it as ‘quite a new thing’.

He told Gogglebox alum Joe Bagg: ‘I think it was a gradual thing I realised. I was looking at boys like, do I think they’re good-looking because I want to be them or because I fancy them?

‘Then Bailey slid into my DMs – sorry Bailey for outing you for that. He’ll hate me. I liked a few of his pictures first, but then he thought he had the green light.

‘He made the first move, but he always says that I made the first move because I liked a few of his Instagrams. Then he sent a DM, quite a confident message and I was like, we’ll start chatting a little bit. And then we started going on dates, stuff like that.’

Elsewhere in the conversation, Fraser said it felt ‘easier’ to explore his sexuality now he’s past school and university, given that he is surrounded by fewer opinions.

He added: ‘It’s a really confusing thing because when I was younger… Everyone [was] like “You’re gay, you’re gay, you’re gay.” And then you’re like, “No, I’m not, no I’m not, no I’m not.”

‘And now me having a boyfriend, I think to begin, I was almost like, [I] don’t want to do it because I feel like I’m proving them right.’

Fraser said the fear of public perception over his sexuality plagued him in the time between filming The Traitors and its airing on the BBC.
