Windsor police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect following the sexual assault of a 12-year-old boy at a park. Shortly after 6 p.m. on August 27, police received a report of a sexual assault that occurred earlier that day.

During an investigation, officers learned the victim was fishing at a park in the 3900 block of Ducharme Street at approximately 5:30 p.m. when he was approached by an unknown man who touched him inappropriately and made suggestive comments. The suspect then left the area on a bicycle.
The victim fled the area and notified his family, who then contacted police.
The suspect is described as an East Indian male, approximately 40 to 50 years old, with a black beard containing grey or white hair around the sides and neck. At the time of the incident, he was wearing an orange turban, white short sleeve shirt, dark green or brown pants and black shoes while riding a teal-coloured mountain bike.
