Norris won championships at Formula 4 and Formula 3 level before reaching F1
World champion Lando Norris says he is putting his own money into setting up a driver development programme and his own team, so he can put something back into motorsport.
Norris' team, to be known as LN4 Fusion, launched near Monza on Wednesday before the Italian Grand Prix weekend.
It will run teams across multiple feeder categories, starting from next year.
"I'm proud to be part of something outside F1, and really feel like I can embed myself in a racing team," the Briton said.
"And to help the younger generation who are maybe not as fortunate as others, or as I was when I was younger."

Norris said he had "double-ticked" his childhood dreams of getting to Formula 1 and becoming champion, and that this new project "means something and sets a fire inside of me".
He explained: "I get to use the bonuses of being in my position and use them to give something back to others.
"I know how lucky I was. To go through F4, F3 and F2 is very hard. It's not just about who has the money, it's about driver coaches, the people around you, this group of people around each individual, which is always tailored.
"Learning what each driver needs as an individual and then we want to give everyone the best shot possible at getting to F1.
"I have been able to live my dream, I am very lucky to be able to say that and it's even cooler in some ways to help someone else to do that.
"It's a perfect combination. I get to support some drivers I can support. I have timed it so by the time I retire, they are old enough and can take my seat!"
Norris, 26, will be in overall charge of the programme but has signed a team of leaders to run it for him while he races full-time in F1.
