And the opulent Montecito nuptials of singer Finneas O'Connell and his bride Claudia Sulewski provided just such a setting for one A-list couple in attendance, who seemed to be caught in a back and forth.
In video footage this weekend, Justin Bieber and his model wife Hailey were seen in what appeared to be a tense exchange, with Hailey at one point gesturing dramatically before seemingly walking away from her husband.
Just two weeks shy of their own eighth wedding anniversary, the apparent flare-up has raised eyebrows after a turbulent 2025 for the couple – when fans fretted over Justin's wellbeing and speculated about the state of his marriage.

Another insider insisted that the seemingly frosty moment was not a sign of a rough patch, but merely a glimpse of the high-voltage dynamic that has kept the Biebers together.
'Justin and Hailey often get in fights because Justin is fragile and she knows how to push his buttons,' the insider said.
And, friends say, while the pair may clash fiercely, neither appears willing to stay mad for long.
