Rejoice, Manifest fans. Netflix announced it’s developing a new spinoff Arrivals: A New Manifest Mystery over three years after the sci-fi drama ended with season four.

Manifest fans may have, well, manifested this news.

Netflix is developing a new spinoff, currently titled Arrivals: A New Manifest Mystery, which will be set over three years after the sci-fi drama, the streamer announced Aug. 28.

Set in the universe of Manifest, "Arrivals marks a bold new chapter," the press release noted, "introducing a new cast of characters and uncharted storylines set in a world built to captivate both Manifest superfans and newcomers alike."

And while the original series—starring Josh Dallas and Melissa Roxburgh—chronicled the passengers of Montego Air Flight 828 returning home after mysteriously being catapulted them five years into the future, Arrivals puts a new spin on the air travel time machine trope.

"When a mysterious plane crash-lands in Denver, the passengers emerge with no memory of who they are, where they came from or why they’re here," the series logline explained. "A young social worker and a novice Homeland Security agent team up with the new arrivals in an attempt to stop a humanity-ending catastrophe, discovering along the way that they are all part of the very puzzle they’re trying to solve."

Manifest's first three seasons aired on NBC until the drama's shocking cancellation in 2021. Netflix picked it up for a fourth season, which was released in two parts between 2022 and 2023.

Arrivals reunites original creators, writers and showrunners Jeff Rake, Margaret Easley and Laura Putney.

"When the idea for Manifest first crash-landed in my head, I never imagined where it would lead," Rake said in a statement on behalf of Easley and Putney. "What started as a wild concept became something much bigger, a story that connected with millions of people around the globe. And thanks to Netflix, we were able to finish the journey and give those fans the ending they deserved."

He added, "But, the world of Manifest has more stories to tell. To now bring fans a brand-new mystery from that world is quite simply beyond my wildest dreams."

While fans wait for more updates on Arrivals, keep reading to find out the fates of more renewed and canceled TV shows.

The new thriller starring Emmy Rossum will return for season two.

Because Peacock's hit reality dating competition series will return for season nine with host Ariana Madix.

The Mindy Kaling-created series was not greenlit by Hulu for a second season after its June premiere.
