WhiteShine Games has announced that Endless Isolation, its PSX-style first-person survival horror game, will launch on Steam on 3rd September. Players who want an early taste of its unsettling island setting can already try the free demo before the full release.

The game begins with an ordinary end to a work shift at Viralith Corporation, but things quickly take a terrifying turn. After returning home and encountering nervous neighbors, the protagonist is suddenly awakened by someone breaking down the apartment door. Moments later, they find themselves stranded on an isolated island filled with horrifying monsters.

Survival will depend heavily on resource management. While players have access to a variety of weapons, ammunition is extremely limited, making every encounter a difficult choice. Fighting isn’t always the best option, and sometimes running away is the smarter way to survive.

Exploration also plays a major role, with hidden items, notes, environmental clues, locked doors, and classic puzzles scattered throughout the island. As players uncover more about the monsters and the island’s history, they may discover secrets that were better left buried.

Endless Isolation embraces a retro PSX-inspired visual style while using modern technology to enhance the experience. Players can also disable pixelation if they prefer a cleaner image.

The game will also feature Horde Mode and Survivor Mode, offering additional challenges beyond the main story. Overall, Endless Isolation looks set to deliver a tense old-school horror experience for fans of the genre.
