Deborah Roberts, Al Roker and their son Nick Roker, recently enjoyed a lakeside family getaway.
The 20/20 host shared a behind the scenes look on social media into their adventure-filled vacation on August 10 in Hudson Valley, New York.
The trio went on a relaxing boat ride and decided to take a daring plunge into the cold water together.
Deborah donned a black bikini with seahorses and corals illustrated throughout, while rocking a ponytail. Nick sported white swim trunks with a navy blue pattern.
While preparing to jump into the lake Deborah teased Nick, saying: "Don't chicken out on me," and he confirmed: "I'm not."
She joked: "Don't fold on me like an umbrella," and Nick replied: "I'm ready."
Al counted them down from the comfort of the boat. Afterwards, Deborah revealed: "That feels good…It's cold but it feels pleasant…It's refreshing. Come on in."
Deborah captioned the video: "It's August. The only month I'll do this. And with @nickroker155 why not? Cold and refreshing. Annual tradition. Here we go!"
Fans absolutely loved the family's charming and wholesome connection and flocked to the comments.
One person wrote: "How incredibly cool would it be that both my parents are legendary TV anchors/ journalists/ meteorologists and I get to hear their ICONIC voices every day in regular life!?!?!? Ahhhhhhh, have a great rest of your summer Roker/Roberts family. We all adore you!"

Just a day before their bold leap into the lake, Deborah got dolled up in a blue and white plaid dress during her restful stay upstate.
