A thrilling week of competition has crowned a new Bolton Golf Club champion.
Chris Lloyd claimed the title for the second time at the club on Chorley New Road, where the final night was played in front of a large crowd of supporters, family, and caddies.
In the closing moments of his match against Sam Callaghan, Mr Lloyd showed 'nerves of steel' on the 18th hole, getting up and down from 20 yards short to secure the win after Mr Callaghan missed a 20-foot birdie putt.

A spokesperson said: "It was a fabulous evening and the club laid on a superb barbecue at the halfway house and there was much celebrating and enjoyment for one and all.
"Thanks go to all the spectators who came out to support the players, the official match referees, the greens staff that presented the course in superb condition, and the F&B staff for laying on such a great BBQ."
The finals night marked the conclusion of a packed week of championship events, beginning with the Seniors Championship, which saw Tim Cooper take the title with a gross score of 142.
David Johnson won the net competition with a score of 136.
Helen Braddock triumphed in the Ladies Championship with a gross score of 186, while Rachel Sojka claimed the net title with 151.
The main Club Championship featured three categories.
The Champion Golfer competition was open to players with a handicap under 5.3 and was played over two days.
The Silver Plate was contested by those with handicaps between 5.3 and 16.2, and the Higher Handicap category was for players above 16.2.
A total of 110 members competed over 36 holes, with the top eight gross scores in each category advancing to a match play knockout format held during the week.
Semi-finals were played on Monday and Wednesday, leading up to the finals on Friday evening.
In the Higher Handicaps Championship, Andrew Dickson defeated Chris Goth 4&2, maintaining his early lead to close out the match on the 16th hole.
