The Skoda Octavia RS is back in India! The brand has announced another batch of the performance sedan after the earlier lot received strong demand and sold out. The new batch is priced at Rs 56.69 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 6.70 lakh more than the previous Rs 49.99 lakh price.
Only 50 units are being brought to India, with deliveries expected to begin next week. For buyers looking for a fast sedan that can also work as a practical family car, the Octavia RS continues to be an interesting option.
A run limited sedan with a powerful engine
The car uses a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine that produces 265 PS and 370 Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels through a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
The performance package also includes sports suspension, progressive steering and a sports exhaust. The sedan can reach 100 kmph from a standstill in just 6.4 seconds.
