Jennifer Aniston recalled the best advice Dolly Parton gave her before she died, telling the audience at an event for her boyfriend Jim Curtis about the singer’s colorful life lesson.

Jennifer Aniston is grateful for her friends, especially one in particular.

A week after Dolly Parton died following a brief battle with cancer, the Friends actress shared the incomparable advice she received from the “dear friend of all of ours,” who she worked with on the 2018 movie Dumplin’.

“One of her many, many, many, many incredible quotes, and they’re endless,” Jennifer said during an event at the 92nd Street Y in New York City Sept. 2, according to Us Weekly, “she would say, ‘I chased a few rainbows and I caught some.’”

So, the 57-year-old repeated the advice, telling the audience, “Go chase your dreams and go catch some rainbows. You’ll catch a few. [Dolly] did that, for sure.”

Of course, Jennifer was just one of many who were impacted by the optimism Dolly shared with the world before her death. Indeed, Miley Cyrus has embraced the teachings of her “Aunt Dolly” ever since her dad Billy Ray Cyrus asked the “9 to 5” singer to be her godmother in 1992.

“What I KNOW is Dolly would want me to feel it,” Miley wrote about her grief on Instagram Aug. 26, “write a song about it, and then continue on and be strong. I have an angel by my side. I always have.”

The Grammy winner added, “I will always love her and want to make her proud. My heart breaks for the world, her family and friends who will miss her deeply. We’re in this loss together and we will see her in all of the most beautiful things.”

Still, as the world ached, Dolly’s family emphasized that her positivity continues to have an impact.

“She would also tell us to start drying it up and start trying to get back to work,” the singer’s niece Jada Star told Extra in an interview published Sept. 1. “And to love each other real hard. Yeah, she was just a trip.”

Parton's younger sister shared moving insight into their special bond in her tribute.

"Every Tuesday about this time, before the sun came up and the world was still asleep, she and I, for many years, had our coffee together over the phone," she wrote on social media. "Being little farm girls we've continued to be early risers."

She added, "As she liked to say; 'shoot Tedda, we get more work done before the sun comes up than most folks do all day long!' We would catch up on gossip, as sisters do, and drink coffee and make plans, as it has always been our way"

Cyrus reflected on his longtime friendship with the "Love Is Like a Butterfly" singer.
