FORMER Colchester United defender Aaron Donnelly has linked up with Scottish Championship side Dunfermline Athletic on a season-long loan.
The 23-year-old, who made 22 league and cup appearances for the U's under Danny Cowley on loan from Nottingham Forest in the 2024/25 season, has joined Neil Lennon's side from Scottish Premiership side Dundee.
Donnelly made 14 league starts for Colchester and played a big part in helping them keep six successive clean sheets, in the final weeks of 2024.

The Northern Ireland international returned to Dundee in January 2025 on a permanent deal, following his U's loan spell.
