After the National Bank of Canada, another major Canadian bank has revealed XRP holdings.

The Bank of Montreal (NYSE: BMO) is a Canadian multinational investment bank and financial services company. It was founded in Montreal, Quebec, in 1817 as Montreal Bank. With 209 years of history, the Bank of Montreal is Canada's oldest bank.

In its 13F filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Bank of Montreal revealed that it holds exposure to different cryptocurrencies and crypto-linked equities through exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

With a market cap of $62.8 billion, XRP is the sixth largest cryptocurrency.

With a market cap of $1.26 trillion, Bitcoin (BTC) is the largest cryptocurrency.

Billionaire Michael Saylor's Strategy (Nasdaq: MSTR) is the world's largest Bitcoin treasury company. The firm has sold Bitcoin several times this year, bringing down its holdings to 840,447 BTC.

Chaired by Wall Street veteran Tom Lee, Bitmine Immersion Technologies (NYSE: BMNR) is the leading Ethereum treasury company. As of Aug. 9, it holds 5,805,238 ETH and 209 BTC.

Founded by billionaire entrepreneur Brian Armstrong in 2012, Coinbase Global (Nasdaq: COIN) is the largest crypto trading exchange in the U.S.
