Publisher Spike Chunsoft announced Steins;Gate Re:Boot for the Xbox Series X|S has been delayed to August 20 to October 29 to align with the release date of the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 versions.
The game will launch for PC via Steam worldwide on August 20, and in Japan for Switch 2, PS5, Switch, PS4.
“We previously announced a release date of August 20, 2026, but decided to postpone the release date to align with the western console release date of October 29, 2026,” said Spike Chunsoft. “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause to those who have been looking forward to the release of the Xbox Series X|S version.”
