IRCTC West Zone and the Maharashtra Forest Department have signed a landmark MoU to promote sustainable wildlife tourism across the state. The agreement was exchanged during the International Tiger Day celebrations in Nagpur on July 29.

Under the partnership, IRCTC will introduce exclusive wildlife tourism packages featuring confirmed train travel, accommodation, local transfers, and assured safari permits for destinations including Tadoba, Pench, Bor, Navegaon–Nagzira, Umred Karhandla, and Tipeshwar.IRCTC Group General Manager Gaurav Jha said the collaboration will offer seamless travel experiences while supporting eco-friendly tourism and wildlife conservation.

The initiative is expected to boost local economies and position Maharashtra as a premier wildlife tourism destination in India.
