Warning: Spoilers ahead for Season 3 of “My Life with the Walter Boys.”
If you thought Season 2 of “My Life with the Walter Boys” ended with a bang, just wait until you watch Season 3.
The hit Netflix series returned with 10 new episodes Aug. 6 and continued its streak of leaving viewers on the edge of their seats with an action-packed season finale. Luckily, the show has already been renewed for Season 4.
Season 3 finds Jackie (Nikki Rodriguez) exploring her chemistry with Cole (Noah LaLonde). After starting off slow, their romance quickly heats up and they finally seem to be on the right track, especially when Alex (Ashby Gentry) begins to make peace with the end of his relationship with Jackie.
Then, a newcomer shows up in town: Eliot (Naveen Paddock), Jackie’s childhood friend from New York. Eliot represents everything from Jackie’s life before moving to Colorado — ambition, hustle culture and a fast-paced life — and her uncle Richard wants to make sure Jackie hasn’t let the slow pace of Colorado life (or her romance with notorious bad boy Cole) impact her future goals.
Later on in the season, Eliot and Richard get into Cole’s head and convince him that he’s holding Jackie back and having a negative influence on her. Worried that Jackie truly is better off without him, Cole breaks up with her in cruel fashion. Alas, he’s still in love with her, and several members of his family urge him to make things right.
All the teenage drama comes to a head in the Season 3 finale, which will leave you eagerly counting down the days until Season 4 arrives.
All season long, Jackie worked to create a community space for teens in Silver Falls. With one week left until the opening event, she runs into some major issues when a pipe bursts in the building, causing a bunch of damage to the space.
Jackie learns that it could take several weeks to repair, and she doesn’t want to postpone the event. However, she quickly discovers that making the repairs in a timely manner is going to be quite expensive.
When Cole hears the news, he visits Jackie’s uncle Richard and asks him if there’s anything he can do to expedite the repairs process. Richard teams up with George (Marc Blucas) and the Walter family to make sure the space is ready in time for the event. Still, Jackie is unaware that Cole had orchestrated the quick turnaround.
At the event, Alex tells Jackie that Cole spoke with Richard, offered to pay the contractors himself and enlisted help from his coworkers at the auto shop he works at to help with the repairs.
Jackie is confused and wonders why Cole would go to such lengths to help when he broke up with her. Alex tells her it’s “complicated” and Eliot interrupts their conversation before he can divulge any additional information.
After auditioning for a European band tour, Nathan (Corey Fogelmanis) learns that he got the spot. Even better, his parents agreed to let him go.
When Nathan tells Alex the big news, Alex notes that Nathan doesn’t seem super excited. Nathan then explains that he’s eager to do something to find out who he is and what he wants. At the same time, he’s nervous that the timing isn’t right, especially since their dad is recovering from his stroke and Will (Johnny Link) and Haley (Zoë Soul) just left town.
Alex encourages Nathan to pursue his dreams. Nathan breaks the news to his ex, Skylar (Jaylan Evans), who says he will miss him while he’s gone.
