Country's most valuable listed company benefits from links to Taiwan-based parent

SAMUT PRAKAN, Thailand — It is 7 p.m. and workers are streaming through the gates of Delta Electronics' (Thailand) plant in the Bangpoo Industrial Estate, in Thailand's Samut Prakan province, just outside Bangkok. Hawkers sell snacks to the overwhelmingly female crowd.
