Shares of several Adani Group companies were trading higher on the NSE on Tuesday, with Adani Power leading the charge after a reignited buying interest in the conglomerate’s stocks.
Adani Power was up ₹7.50 or 3.79 per cent to ₹205.50 as of 12.19 pm, with buy orders outnumbering sell orders at 55:45. Brokerage JM Financial retained its ‘Buy’ rating on Adani Power with a target price of ₹257, flagging a potential 30 per cent upside following a site visit to the company’s Raipur complex. The brokerage cited the turnaround of the 2×685 MW operational plant and the progress of the 2×800 MW expansion project under construction. The stock has surged 69.32 per cent over the past year from a 52-week low of ₹120 hit in September 2025.
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone climbed ₹56.20 or 3.53 per cent to ₹1,649.30, with near-even buy-sell pressure reflecting broad-based institutional interest. Adani Green Energy gained ₹40.70 or 3.35 per cent to ₹1,255.60, with buyers commanding 53.67 per cent of the order book. Both stocks have delivered over 23 per cent and 34 per cent returns, respectively, in the past year.
Adani Enterprises, the group’s flagship, has surged around 34 per cent so far in 2026, putting it on track to be the top gainer on the Nifty 50 for the year, a position it last held at the end of 2022, before the Hindenburg Research report triggered a selloff that wiped over $150 billion from the group’s market value. The stock was up a modest 0.50 per cent to ₹2,873.40 by mid-session, well below its 52-week high of ₹3,245.
Not all group stocks participated. Adani Energy Solutions fell ₹30.40 or 2.14 per cent to ₹1,387, weighed down by heavy sell pressure at 66.61 per cent of the order book. Adani Total Gas gained just 0.43 per cent, while Ambuja Cements and ACC posted subdued gains of under 1 per cent.
The broader recovery across the group has come alongside share purchases from investors as the conglomerate rebuilds investor confidence following the short-seller attack.
