Windsor police are asking for the public’s help to identify an alleged burglar and persistent prowler accused of repeatedly targeting the same west end home over several days.

Police said the incidents happened between July 26 and 29, typically between 5:30 a.m. and 7 a.m., at a home in the 2300 block of University Avenue West.
The man was allegedly captured on video and seen by bystanders going onto the property and entering the house on multiple occasions.
On one occasion, investigators said the man forced his way through a door before the homeowner found him standing in the foyer. Police said the man fled after he was discovered.
Police said the man is white and around 40 to 50 years old. He has short ginger and grey hair and a mostly grey beard.
Windsor police have released two photos of the man wearing a backpack. In one photo he is pushing a dark-coloured bicycle. In the second photo, he is riding a red bike.
