Netflix's September slate is heavy on documentaries. The newest installments of sports doc series Untold tell the story of Australian Olympic breakdancer Raygun (Untold Raygun: Breaking Badly, Sept. 1) and pro wrestler—and 80s icon—Mr. T (Untold Mr. T: I Pity The Fool, Sept. 8). The Turning Point series, which has covered geopolitical conflicts like the War on Terror, the Cold War, and the Vietnam War, returns with Turning Point: Generation 9/11 (Sept. 2), examining the impact of 9/11 on children who lost parents, journalists, and those who experienced the Afghanistan War. On the docudrama side, UNABOMBER (Sept. 25), inspired by the true story of Ted Kaczynski, stars Russell Crowe, Jacob Tremblay, and Shailene Woodley.
The second installment of Hot Ones: Extra Heat—which first premiered in July—drops on Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. ET. Host Sean Evans will be bringing spicy wings to WWE Raw. Netflix will also be hosting a live NFL matchup, played in Melbourne, Australia, between the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams. The game kicks off at 8:35 p.m. ET on Sept. 10.
New reality TV options include Earle Meets World (Sept. 4), an unscripted series following TikTok star Alix Earle, and Wonka's The Golden Ticket (Sept. 23), a competition set in a recreation of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Finally, there are new comedy specials from Jared Freid (The Family Plan, Sept. 1), Stavros Halkias (Uncle Stav, Sept. 8), and Jo Koy (Blue in the Face, Sept. 15).
