Vin Diesel shared insight into his special bond with his late Fast & Furious costar Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow Walker: “I would die for her.”
And that includes his late Fast & Furious costar Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow Walker, who he shared is “such a blessing” to have in his life.
“She’s the first one to ever call me on Father’s Day,” Vin told Entertainment Tonight at a recent event celebrating the action franchise’s 25th anniversary. “She’s the first one to show up to all the kids’ birthdays.”
Vin—dad to kids Hania, 18, Vincent, 16, and Pauline, 11, with his longtime partner Paloma Jiménez—added of Meadow, “I’m so grateful to have her in my family’s life.”
Calling her “a true cousin to my angels,” the action star emphasized, “I would die for her.”
As for what it meant to have Meadow at his side during the Aug. 17 event?
“It means everything,” Vin said, “because I don’t know if I could have come to the red carpet.”
Paul died in a fatal car crash in 2013 at the age of 40. At the time, Meadow—whom Paul shared with ex Rebecca Soteros—was just 15.
Since then, Vin—who is Meadow’s godfather and even walked her down the aisle when she married Louis Thornton-Allan in 2021—has been open about his special bond with the 27-year-old.
Recently, the pair reunited at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival May 13 alongside more of their Fast family, including Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster, where Vin gave Meadow a shoutout during his speech inside the theater.
“The person who was not going to let me come alone here to represent that brotherhood was Meadow Walker,” he shared, per People. “I’m gonna go and shed a tear real quick.”
Since Paul’s death, Meadow—who finalized her divorced from Thornton-Allan in 2024—has made it a priority to keep her dad's legacy alive, recently calling him her "guardian angel" on what would have been his 50th birthday back in 2023.
"Thank you for your love, guidance, friendship, sunshine and for raising me to see all of the beauty in the world," Meadow wrote on Instagram that September. “You are the most kind, humble, generous and caring soul I know. You taught me at a young age to always treat everyone with respect, to do good and to take care of our planet. I love you and miss you every day.”
