Tyler Cameron and Tate Madden announced their engagement two years after confirming their romance: “Better late than never they say.”
Two years after confirming their romance, The Bachelorette alum proposed to the model during a romantic beach stroll in Little Palm Island, Florida.
As Cameron and Madden captioned a joint Instagram post featuring photos of the special moment Aug. 15, “Better late than never they say.”
In one photo, Cameron—donning white pants, a pinstriped button-down shirt and tan shoes—could be seen on one knee as he held a jewelry box in his hands. Meanwhile, Madden, 32, couldn’t contain her excitement over the milestone as she gave her fiancé a wide smile.
Madden—wearing a floral print dress and tan wedges—flashed her new sparkler as she placed a loving hand on Cameron’s chest in a second sweet shot.
Shortly after the pair shared they were engaged, Cameron’s Bachelor Nation family wasted no time in congratulating the reality star.
“Congrats you two. Sending so much love,” Colton Underwood commented under the post, while JoJo Fletcher added, “Ahh congrats!! Love u guys.”
Cameron rose to fame in 2019 after he came in as Hannah Brown’s runner-up during season 15 of The Bachelorette. And while he didn’t find his happily ever after on the dating series, that’s because his great love story had yet to begin.
Indeed, Cameron met Madden in 2022 before confirming that their working relationship had turned romantic in 2024.
"It was always platonic and cool, and she was always the life of the party and fun," Cameron told E! News in October 2025. "Everyone gravitates towards her. She's just a ball of fun energy, and everyone enjoys being around her."
And while the pair only just took the next step in their relationship, it seems Cameron has had marriage on the brain for quite some time, teasing his plans to pop the question to Madden a year ago.
"We're working on all those things,” he said. "We're taking all the right steps in the direction we have some exciting steps in front of us."
