The summer window is entering its final days as the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham all work hard to wrap up deals before Tuesday's deadline. Three of the biggest moves of the summer are still in the offing, with the Gunners after Julian Alvarez, Liverpool closing in on Bradley Barcola and Man City targeting Enzo Fernandez.

Alvarez has been absent from training at Atletico Madrid as Arsenal push to snap up the Argentine, while Gabriel Martinelli is set to join Al Hilal. A trio of youngsters in James Scanlon, Habeeb Ogunneye and Igor Tyjon are joining. Liverpool have agreed a fee with Paris Saint-Germain for Barcola, and also want Ismaila Sarr, which could see Cody Gakpo join Spurs.

Man Utd still want to sign a left-back with Lewis Hall their no1 target, while Joshua Zirkzee could leave. Chelsea have agreed a fee for Emi Martinez, and have agreed a deal worth £40m for Honest Ahanor. Fernandez was left out of the matchday squad last night, and looks to be heading out along with Nicolas Jackson and Liam Delap. Spurs have unveiled Omar Marmoush and could move for Neco Williams. Bradley Barcola is ready to have his Liverpool medical after Paris Saint-Germain accepted a bid worth more than £110million for him.

Reports on Thursday claimed that a verbal agreement had between reached between the two clubs following weeks of negotiations.

According to French journalist François Plateau, Barcola has been pushing for the move for several weeks and personal terms have already been agreed.

The 23-year-old is expected to travel to Merseyside for a medical once he gets the green light from PSG, which could come on Friday.

Only minor details are now left to finalise as Liverpool wrap up a third deal worth well over £100m in a little over a year.

Because of registration requirements, Barcola will not be available for Liverpool's game against Nottingham Forest, regardless of when the transfer is officially announced.

The France star would have to be registered with the club by 12pm on Friday, August 28, to be included in the matchday squad.

Liverpool's next fixture, an away match against Ipswich on Friday, September 4, has been earmarked as Barcola's debut.

However, Neco Williams will be harder to pry from Nottingham Forest, who are determined to keep the defender despite growing interest from Tottenham.

According to TEAMtalk, Spurs have identified the Wales international as a potential target in the final days of the window.

Forest, however, are not looking to sanction a late sale and are determined to retain one of their key players before the transfer window closes.

Forest’s interest in Crystal Palace’s Daniel Munoz is not expected to have an impact on Williams’ future.
