Shall we take a look at how the top half of the Premier League table is looking?
They have jumped up to third after that magnificent win at Tottenham, but how long they will stay there, who knows? Most likely until tomorrow.
Nico Gonzalez, Newcastle midfielder, speaking to BBC Sport:
With all the big names going out the door, including the Italian fella on the opposite team today, the middle of the park seemed like a problem position for the Magpies.
But it seems that the signing of Nico Gonzalez has already sorted that problem; he was superb today.
The Spaniard looked sharp from the off and won the midfield battle against Sandro Tonali until his opposite number was substituted.
While Newcastle fans will be happy as Larry looking at the table, the same can't be said about Tottenham.
It may only be two games, but it's a similar look to last season at times. They sit rock bottom.
This may not be the most aesthetic overhead kick you will ever see, but it's still some finish.
The goalkeeper leaves a little to be desired, though; I have to say that.
