Look, we all have gaps in our musical knowledge, and that's totally fine. However, acting like everyone else is wrong after being ignorant on the internet is never the move! A TikTok user may or may not have learned this lesson after finding out the Grateful Dead are indeed real.

A few TikToks posted by a woman named Chrissy are making the rounds online after she shared footage of Grateful Dead shirts on sale in Old Navy's kids section. The design features the band's name and three Dancing Bears, which Chrissy did not understand.

"Um, Old Navy, are you okay?" she posted while holding the shirt in-store. "I don't get it, am I missing something here?"

It really should've ended there, after people informed her that Grateful Dead are a band in the comments, but Chrissy doubled down and insisted that we must be the stupid ones.

"Imagine thinking you're so cool because you know a band that somebody else doesn't know," she said in a follow-up video. "And for reference, the band is Grateful Dead. Who the fuck knows that band? And if you do, you're a fucking 1965 hippie." Sick burn! Maybe a Deadhead will clap back during a moment of lucidity between shroom trips.

Acting like someone is dumb for not knowing a band isn't cool, but in this case, Chrissy asked the internet for clarification, got it, and took out her insecurity about being ignorant on everyone else. So, we don't feel that bad!
