Tiger Woods is expected to appear in a Florida court for a change of plea hearing following a car crash in March.
Woods previously pleaded not guilty in writing through his lawyers to charges including driving under the influence, property damage and refusing to submit to testing.

major winner was arrested and held in jail for eight hours before being released on bail after the Land Rover he was driving overturned in a collision with a pick-up truck towing a trailer.
A court notice states that the 50-year-old is scheduled to appear at Martin County Courthouse at 8.30am local time on Wednesday, the Daily Mail reported.
It remains unclear what plea he intends to enter or whether an agreement has been reached with prosecutors.
Woods was not injured in the crash and escaped through the vehicle’s passenger door. He passed a breath test for alcohol but declined to provide a urine sample for drug testing.
A police affidavit said officers saw Woods “sweating profusely” and described him as “lethargic and slow”, with eyes that appeared “bloodshot and glassy”, the Press Association reported.
Woods told investigators he “was looking down at his cell phone and changing the radio station” shortly before the collision and “did not notice the vehicle in front of him had slowed down”.
He denied drinking alcohol or using illegal drugs but acknowledged taking “a few” prescription medications earlier that morning, the Press Association reported.
The affidavit also described Woods as “extremely alert and talkative” and said he had “hiccups during the entire investigation”.
Police conducted several sobriety exercises during which Woods reportedly had difficulty following instructions.
“How he performed on the exercises and based on my training, knowledge and experience, I believe Woods’ normal faculties were impaired and he was unable to safely operate the motor vehicle,” a police officer at the scene concluded.
Investigators searching the Land Rover discovered two white pills later identified as hydrocodone, a prescription opioid used to manage severe, chronic pain.
Woods underwent emergency surgery after suffering serious leg injuries in a car crash in California in February 2021. He has not played on the PGA Tour since July 2024.
