Last week Crikey exclusively revealed that there is no record of Victorian One Nation candidate Mark Nicholson being a former criminal lawyer, despite his claims otherwise. Nicholson told News Corp in July he “packed it in after six weeks’ practice in litigation” to form Stepmates Studios, the animation studio responsible for One Nation’s satirical Please Explain cartoon series in 2012, alongside business partner Sebastian Peart. 

Now, one of Nicholson’s other brief careers has been unearthed: acting.
