Internal government documents released under freedom of information laws offer an insight into how much business the government, through the Department of Finance, has tied up with embattled professional services firm KPMG.
As of July 6, the department had 10 active contracts worth a combined $42.77 million, covering contracts that started as early as May 2023 and continue through to March 2030. The biggest contract, worth $15.4 million, is for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Capital Infrastructure Services Panel, which is largely focused on projects in the Indo-Pacific region.
