Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Taylor Frankie Paul revealed more insight into what went down on her unaired season of The bachelorette in a sneak peek at season five of SLOMW.

Taylor Frankie Paul is shedding petals on her love life.

In a sneak peek at the upcoming fifth season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Taylor is interrogated by fellow cast members Jessi Draper, Mikayla Matthews and Mayci Neeley about her season of  The Bachelorette, which never aired due to domestic violence allegations between Taylor and her ex Dakota Mortensen.

“Was there a part of you,” Jessi asks in the clip shared on Hulu’s Get Real podcast, “that was like, ‘He looks like Dakota?’”

However, Taylor assured her friends, “I didn't start thinking that until people said it around me. I actually did not see it the night I met him at all.”

Though they didn’t name the mystery man in question, contestant Doug Mason was rumored to have gotten Taylor’s final rose during her season after covertly appearing in TikToks alongside Taylor after the season finished filming.

But Jessi didn’t let her friend entirely off the hook, pointing out that Dakota and Doug not only have the same initials, but that they’re also from Idaho. She added that the similarities are “so weird.”

“See I didn’t learn all that until later,” she emphasized, before dropping the bomb: “He did get down on one knee and proposed. Which I was shocked.”

The news clearly shocked her friends, too, with Jessi sharing that Doug had apparently told the group he hadn’t planned on proposing. To which Taylor replied, “He told me that, too. Like, we weren’t planning on doing that.”

Yet, “I said yes,” the 32-year-old confirmed. “I did.”

As for what happened after Doug popped the question, it would appear that things fell apart once Taylor—mom two children with ex-husband Tate Paul—got home and was back in the same place as Dakota, with whom she shares a 2-year-old son.

“Obviously we're texting,” Taylor recalled of her ex. “‘When are you coming home? When are you going to be home?’ I don't know how it led to it, but he came over.”

Though Mikayla was quick to note, “Um, I think I know how that happened,” while Jessi laughed and said, “Taylor, come on. ‘Come over!’”

But Bachelorette fans will likely need to wait until the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season five premieres on Sept. 10 for any more information on Taylor’s time looking for love. After all, back in April, Disney exec Rob Mills said he wasn’t sure her Bachelorette season would ever make it to TV screens.

"We take everything a day at a time," the executive vice president of unscripted and alternative entertainment at ABC's parent company told TheWrap in an interview published April 22. "We're sort of really still processing everything and figuring out … planning for the next cycles of The Bachelor franchise, and really just kind of looking at everything."
