The charts include comparisons between the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, as well as with older platforms. In the last 12 months, the Switch 2 has outsold the Switch 1 by 2.90 million units. The Switch 2 is ahead of the Switch 1 by 5.97 million units.

The 13th month for the Switch 2 is June 2026, while for the Switch 1 it is March 2018. The Switch 2 has sold 21.84 million units, while the Switch 1 sold 15.87 million units during the same timeframe.

The Nintendo Switch 1 has sold 155.17 million units to date. The Switch 2 is currently 133.33 million units behind the lifetime sales of the Switch 1.

NS2 is really off to an amazing start!

Its actually wild how NS1 fell behind the Wii on and off until Covid hit…
Still wondering if it will overtake the PS2 before its all said and done.

i think the PS2 is just out of reach but only time will tell.

with the prices of the Xseries and PS5 and with nextbox and PS6 prices expected to be higher i wonder if the switch 2 can catch the switch ?
