Disgraced reality TV star Stephen Bear has been handed a 16-month prison sentence for breaching a restraining order.

He was convicted on a charge of harassment after violating a restraining order that stemmed from his 2023 conviction for secretly filming a sex tape of Georgia Harrison without her consent and sharing it online. The Crown Prosecution Service stated that the Celebrity Big Brother star breached the order by making posts on social media about Harrison.

Passing sentence, Judge Morgan said: "You know what the terms of the order was. You understood the consequences and over a prolonged period you deliberately breached the court order. The sentence I impose must be immediate."

Earlier, the court heard that Bear received a surge of comments after Georgia appeared on a prominent podcast and spoke openly about the case.

"In July 2025 after the appearance on a high-profile podcast where proceedings were discussed he received a significant number of notifications and online comments," Ms Deri Molyneux who is speaking on Bear's behalf, reports the Daily Star.

She outlined that Bear was also going through personal difficulties at the time, which was put forward as a mitigating factor. Bear appeared visibly emotional in the dock as the matter was raised before the court.

Georgia Harrison submitted a victim personal statement, which was read aloud to the court, reports Essex Live.

Ms Harrison's statement, read by Ms Kutner, describes Bear's behaviour as having had a "profound impact" on her. It stated: "It causes me significant distress, anxiety and fear during my pregnancy which would make me worry about the baby.

"He's attempted to control the narrative around my life again. His online presence makes me petrified as I perceive him to be angry."

She characterises Bear as having been "relentless with the abuse". Bear arrived at Chelmsford Crown Court this afternoon accompanied by his pregnant wife Miami, and remarked "wish me luck, guys".

The pair revealed in March that they are expecting their first child. While he seemed to weep earlier in court, Bear displayed no obvious reaction as the sentence was delivered and he was led to the cells.

His wife and mother, however, who were seated in the public gallery, seemed visibly upset upon learning he would be returning to prison.
