Night owls were treated to a near-total lunar eclipse on Aug. 27 visible over Wisconsin and most of the United States. They wasted no time sharing the images on social media.
The eclipse gave nearly the entire moon a red hue. It was one of four solar and lunar eclipses in 2026, but this lunar eclipse will be the last of the year.
