Police have arrested five boys after they allegedly threatened three Scots College students accused of raping a teenage girl, according to the principal.
The alleged sexual assault took place on July 22, with the three teenage boys arrested on Thursday.
Two boys, aged 13 and 14, were each charged with aggravated sexual assault in company and two counts of aggravated sexual touching of another person.
A third boy, aged 14, was charged with one count of aggravated sexual assault in company and one count of aggravated sexual touching of another person.
The news of several arrests was shared by Dr Ian Lambert in an email to parents on Sunday, which was seen by The Daily Telegraph.
The Daily Mail can confirm five boys, aged between 13 and 17, were arrested at a home on Lancaster Road, Dover Heights, about 3.45pm on Saturday.
The group had allegedly thrown eggs at a home and were taken to Surry Hills Police Station.
Only one of the boys was charged. The 17-year-old was charged with breach of bail and custody of knife in public place.

'Police have advised that a number of young people – none of them Scots students – have been arrested in relation to recent activity directed towards those involved in the matter currently under investigation,' Dr Ian Lambert wrote to parents.
'Police are also aware of concerning online commentary within the wider community and have asked that young people do not post threats, organise action or otherwise involve themselves.'
The arrests came after a Scots College mother, whose son had been linked on social media to one of the three boys accused of the alleged rape, launched a foul-mouthed tirade during a phone call with the Daily Mail on Friday.
While the boys cannot be identified for legal reasons, three names have circulated online since the serious charges were made public.
The Mail contacted the mother of one of the boys named online. She did not deny her son was one of the three teenagers charged but claimed her son and family were being 'threatened'.
