Serie A side Milan have signed Omari Hutchinson but they have also attempted a late move for Real Madrid's Endrick.
The attacker is behind a long list of attackers in the Los Blancos' pecking order. The Rossoneri have tried to take advantage but a move appears next to impossible.
Daniele Longo has reported that Milan owner Gerry Cardinale sought Jorge Mendes' help to speak to Real Madrid. Several players were discussed between the two clubs – with Brahim Diaz being one. But this also led to the San Siro club attempting a move for Endrick.
Cardinale actually held talks with Florentino Perez over a possible transfer, especially as Ruben Amorim is also quite appealed by the Brazilian.
Despite Endrick unlikely to get regular playing time though, neither the player nor Real Madrid are worried.
The youngster is appealed by playing in the Champions League this season. He is confident about carving out space in the squad, with Real Madrid informing Milan that a deal won't be possible until the next time the transfer window opens.
Milan's move may not be off, though. Cardinale memorised the conditions of the deal and they would be prepared to make a January, if an opportunity opens up. And if Real Madrid offer them a chance to sign the attacker, Milan would snatch it with both hands.
