Litton Das was wrong-footed behind the stumps, and Mehidy Hasan Miraz suffered a worse fate in front of them, as Mitch Starc's desperate review spoke volumes and Cameron Green's redemptive arc proved to be in vain.
Here are the quick hits from day four of the first Test, as Bangladesh claimed a stunning victory, their first ever in a Test on Australian soil.

Australia began the day still 67 runs in arrears, knowing that any early slip-ups could prove fatal to their hopes of pulling off an unlikely escape.
So, Alex Carey's heart was surely in his mouth as the excellent Hasan Mahmud had him edging during the fourth over of the day.
It was a tough chance, but one experienced Bangladeshi wicketkeeper Litton Das would have been hopeful of gobbling up.
Das was too slow to react, and the ball flew past his outstretched left glove and to the boundary.
But Carey was unable to profit from that early slice of fortune, finding himself walking back to the pavilion just three overs later.
This time, Das made no mistake with what, probably, was a more difficult chance, with Carey feathering one through off the bowling of spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz.
It was a superb delivery from Mehidy, pitching and gripping and turning away from the Australian wicketkeeper.
Das had his redemption and Bangladesh was on its way.
