It's that time of the year again – the transfer window is now open until September 1 and it's sure to be a busy period as clubs look to make big signings ahead of the new season.
Here are today's latest developments from Simon Jones and the Daily Mail Sport team…
The transfer window is just heating up in the days before its closure, though, so make sure to follow all the updates on our website.
Bolton have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu from Southampton. Bazunu has signed a three-year deal at the club.
The 24-year-old said: 'It's a club with massive history. I see it as a place where I can come and progress my personal career, while helping the team with their ambitions of getting back to where they belong.'
Liverpool winger Harvey Elliott is being targeted by Spanish side Valencia.
The 23-year-old has interest from a number of clubs with Lazio and Napoli among them but Valencia are hopeful they can tempt the England U21 international to link up with coach Carlos Corberan, the former West Brom boss.
Liverpool have still to receive an official approach but are aware of the interest.
Elliott had a tough time at Aston Villa last season where he was on loan with an obligation to buy at £35m following 10 games.
Aston Villa are set to sign Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris Saint-Germain for more than £47million after missing out on Rafael Leao.
Daily Mail Sport first revealed Villa's interest in Mbaye on May 1 after he was deemed surplus to requirements by the Champions League holders.
Villa moved swiftly to finalise with the European champions with AC Milan's Rafael Leao closing on an agreement with Galatasaray.
Liverpool had held exploratory talks for Mbaye but opted not to proceed while Bayer Leverkusen had previously bid.
Villa have tracked the Senegal international for some time but the deal is still regarded as a coup considering interest from elsewhere.
