Police found suspicious loose pills scattered around an Orléans park shortly after finding pills at another nearby park
The Ottawa police recovered more than 100 “suspicious” pills at two Orléans parks over the weekend.

In a Saturday, Aug. 22, evening release, officers said a resident of the area reported the first set of pills, “scattered in a suspicious manner” at Blue Willow Park, located southeast of the intersection of Innes and Navan roads in Ottawa’s east end.
Police say officers discovered another set of suspicious loose pills scattered around Silverbirch Park in Orléans shortly after, according to a release the following day.
“The pills are undergoing analysis to determine their composition,” police said.

The two Orléans parks are in close proximity to one another, police said in a Sunday, Aug. 23, morning release.
The pills were of various sizes, types and colours, and were scattered near bushes and trees, on the grass and concealed inside acorns, according to the first release.
