Almost 800 streets across the south and east of Glasgow are set to receive 20mph speed limits as the city expands its road safety programme.
Glasgow City Council will introduce the new limits from September, targeting residential streets, routes to schools and roads regularly used by local communities.

The latest phase will cover 797 streets and street sections across areas including Southside Central, Calton, East Centre and Shettleston, as well as parts of Haghill, Ruchazie and Strathbungo.
The changes form part of Glasgow's citywide 20mph programme, which aims to reduce road collisions and make neighbourhood streets safer.
The new limits will come into effect as signage and road markings are installed, following a legal order coming into force on September 22.
The latest rollout follows the introduction of 20mph limits in Govan earlier this year and marks the completion of Phase 1 of the wider citywide programme.
Once the full scheme is delivered, around 3,800 streets and street sections across Glasgow will have 20mph limits, creating one of Scotland's largest networks of lower-speed roads.
Roads that currently have speed limits of 40mph or higher are excluded from the scheme.
The programme is backed by Transport Scotland, with £2.5 million in Scottish Government funding being provided to support Glasgow's local plans.
The wider Scottish Government has committed £41 million to road safety investment.
Glasgow's citywide 20mph rollout is expected to be completed by March 2027, although some phases will be delivered earlier.
Residents and businesses will have an opportunity to find out more about the latest changes at a public drop-in event at Parkhead Library on Thursday, September 3, from 3pm to 7pm.
