NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Police are investigating a fatal crash on the FDR Drive that killed a 25-year-old.
It happened around 2:20 a.m. on Saturday near the Brooklyn Bridge exit, police said.Officials identified the man as Hasan Ibrahim, 25, of Brooklyn.
Police said Ibrahim was riding a Honda CBR500R southbound on the FDR Drive when he lost control and struck a concrete barrier.
He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead.
Officials said the investigation is ongoing by the NYPD Highway Collision Investigation Squad.
