Solo developer iida-lab has released a major Crafting & Progression Overhaul for Looter Survivors, giving players much more freedom when it comes to building and customizing their characters.
The update adds several new systems designed to make gear progression deeper and more rewarding. Players can now use a permanent Mastery Board, equip Gems through equipment sockets, and extract reusable Legendary Aspects from dismantled items. The biggest addition is Affix Synthesis, which allows equipment to carry up to six affixes, opening the door to highly specialized builds.
Looter Survivors combines the fast-paced, swarm-clearing action of a survivors-like game with the loot and build customization found in traditional hack-and-slash ARPGs. Rather than relying solely on leveling up during a run, players can build their power through the equipment they find and the various effects attached to it.
Weapons, armor, and accessories can push builds in different directions, whether players want to focus on elemental damage, summons, defense, critical hits, or powerful legendary effects. With the new crafting systems, unwanted gear can also become useful material for improving future equipment.
The overhaul gives players more control over their progression while keeping the excitement of discovering unusual loot combinations. For anyone who enjoys experimenting with builds, Looter Survivors now offers even more room to create something uniquely their own.
Overall, this update looks like a strong step forward for the game’s loot and buildcrafting systems.
