Despite their strong onscreen dynamic and long-standing marriage, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are completely incompatible in one key aspect of their lives.
During a recent episode of LIVE!, Kelly revealed which zodiac sign is considered the most difficult to travel with – and it turns out it's Mark's star sign.
"Let me guess. Aries," said Mark. "Aries is the toughest sign to travel with, period. Agreed. I know an Aries who shall remain nameless," shared Kelly as she wrapped her arm around her husband.
Despite being tough to travel with, Kelly explained that Mark is great company during vacation. "You are fun on the trip, but getting to the trip, and even worse, coming home from the trip. The fun on the trip, it almost makes it all worth it," she said.
Aries is a Fire sign known for its assertiveness and impatience. "It’s just the insufferable nature of getting to the trip and coming home from the trip that makes me not want to take the trip at all," added Kelly.
Mark then offered up a solution to the couple's travel dilemma. "We should fly home separately," he said, to which Kelly replied, "Oh my gosh, I agree."
Kelly's zodiac sign is Libra, which is compatible with Aries because opposite signs on the zodiac wheel naturally balance each other out. "The next time we travel somewhere, I will just follow you,” he said. “I’ll let you lead the way," said Mark. "Does that mean when you say ‘follow,’ that I’m in charge of everything?" asked Kelly.
"Sure. Yeah," replied Mark, to which Kelly gushed, "Very excited about this."
Kelly and Mark tied the knot in 1996, when they eloped in Las Vegas a year after meeting on the set of the soap opera All My Children. They went on to welcome three kids – Michael, Lola, and Joaquin.
When they are not embarking on their travels, the couple reside in a $27 million townhouse on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Kelly and Mark purchased the lavish abode 12 years ago and transformed it into a modern living space with notes of French and Old Hollywood glamor inspired by the film Mommie Dearest.
Kelly called her home her "favorite place on earth". "We’ve moved several times in our lives, but no matter where we go, for me, this is my forever home," she shared. "When I walked in here, I was like, 'This is the final place where I will live.' I love this house so much." She continued: "I don’t want to sound morbid but they’ll have to carry me out of here feet first because I have gotten good and comfortable in this house."
