Jenna Bush Hager is squeezing every drop of summer she can before it comes to an end.
The TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle co-host posted a carousel of pictures from her family vacation on Instagram on Aug. 23.
“I can see us lost in the memory August slipped away into a moment in time,” she captioned the photos, quoting lyrics from Taylor Swift’s song “August.”
The first image brought together multiple generations of the Bush family. It captured Jenna with her mother, former first lady Laura Bush, along with twin sister Barbara Bush and her daughter, Cora, as well as Jenna’s daughters, Mila, 13, and Poppy, 11.
Barbara and husband Craig Coyne also share son Edward, 2, while Jenna and husband Henry Hager are also parents to son Hal, 6.
Other shots showed Jenna laughing with husband Henry Hager, kids frolicking on rocks near the water, the family on the beach together, kids walking through a garden, Jenna taking a selfie with Poppy and Jenna having a laugh.
Jenna often shares photos of sweet family memories. For the Fourth of July, she posted a roundup of pics of her family soaking up time at the beach and on a boat, captioning it, “Magic of July.”
While Jenna seems to have gotten plenty of quality time with her kids this summer, she’s previously reflected on how her children will become more independent as they grow up.
“I realized that I’m not going to be in all of my kids’ memories. And that actually is a great thing,” she said in 2024 at a TODAY Mother’s Day event. “They’re starting to become really independent, and they don’t need me as much. And I’m like, ‘OK, I did something right.’”
