A bride in Ohio has been left baffled after a stranger on the internet tried to spoil her wedding day by sharing a picture of her wedding dress with her fiancé.
Katie Clark was ecstatic to share her custom wedding dress with her followers online as she anticipated her big day.
But the excitement quickly dissipated after her fiancé, Liam Bailey, got a Facebook message from a stranger who was locked and loaded with a screenshot from Katie's video.
'It's a good thing you're too stupid to know that, when you DM someone you're not friends with on Facebook it automatically censors any images you send,' Katie began in a video uploaded on Tuesday.
'So this is all he saw,' she continued, displaying a screenshot of the message that read: 'Hello, just thought you'd want to see your fiancée's wedding dress.'
The message from an account under the name 'Sandra,' who added a kissing face emoji at the end, had added a photo which was automatically covered over by the platform.
'But before blocking you, I did confirm that that was a screenshot from one of my TikToks. And you know, that was really my fault for being so naive to think that I could share a video with my scant amount of followers of my wedding dress and have someone not send it to my fiancé,' Katie went on to say.
'Because people on the internet are crazy. So Sandra, if that is your real name, I would say, have a bad day.
Katie Clark's pre-wedding excitement quickly dissipated after her fiancé, Liam Bailey, got a Facebook message from a stranger with a screenshot of Katie's wedding dress
Katie tried to find out who it was, but the phone number attached to the account didn't seem to match their contacts, and assured: 'I have taken steps to make sure my day goes smoothly'
'But I think based on the fact that you are taking time out of your day to find random strangers’ fiancés and send them screenshots of their TikToks of their wedding dress, that you’re probably already having a bad day. And that most of your days are quite bad.
'So, I hope things continue on that trajectory for you.'
Viewers of the betrayal being aired out by Katie had their own theories over who would have committed such an act.
'I guarantee you know them in real life,' one user said.
