Manchester United suffered a shock 2-0 defeat away at newly-promoted Hull City in their opening Premier League match of the season.

United were looking to pick up where they left off last season under Michael Carrick, but fell behind early when Sami Ajayi converted a rebound after Senne Lammens had denied Oli McBurnie at the far post.
