Finneas is wed! The Grammy- and Oscar-winning musician (who should also have an Emmy for his cameo in this Saturday Night Live sketch) married YouTuber Claudia Sulewski on Saturday, and his little sister officiated. Deuxmoi has helicopter pap shots of the day, including the moment when Eilish pronounced the Finneai man and wife.
The ceremony took place at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California. The hotel previously hosted the wedding of Melissa Etheridge and Linda Wallem in 2014. In attendance at this wedding were Dax Sheperd and Kristen Bell, Nina Dobrev, Emma Chamberlain, Rachel Sennott, Rebecca Black, the Biebers, and Eilish’s bf Nat Wolff. According to Billboard, the couple’s dogs, Peaches and Moose, also made it to the function.
Finneas and Sulewski dated for seven years before getting engaged in September of last year. The engagement involved a helicopter ride, but the wedding appears to have been a ground-only affair. The couple met on a dating app in 2018, and the couple got serious fast. “I wrote the song Claudia about Claudia the day that I met Claudia, and I sent it to her the night that I met Claudia,” Finneas said in 2019. “I sent her the first part and she texted me back, ‘You’re trouble.’ And then the chorus, which is the, ‘I’m in trouble now’ part. I was like, ‘Oh, that’s… cheers!’”
