Essex County OPP are investigating after officers found a man dead Monday morning in Tecumseh.

Ontario Provincial Police said officers and paramedics responded around 6:30 a.m. Monday to investigate a “sudden death” near Highway 401 at Lakeshore Road 103.
Police said they found a 51-year-old man dead at the scene. The OPP have released no other details, but said there is no threat to public safety.
“The investigation is in its early stages, and residents of the area should expect to see an increased police presence,” Essex County OPP said in a media release.
