Coronation Street star Vinta Morgan has confirmed the return of one particular troublemaker, with the actress recently seen holidaying with another star of the long-running show.
The actor, who is known for playing Ronnie Bailey in the ITV soap, which is filmed in Salford, has revealed that Sara Poyzer, who Corrie fans will know appeared on the show last year as dodgy car dealer Fiona Morley, and made a brief return not too long ago, will soon be back.
Sara, who is also known for her successful theatre career, which includes playing Donna Sheridan in the hit musical Mamma Mia, and during her last appearance on the cobbles, Fiona found Carl Webster at the Chariot Square, where both Debbie and Ronnie Bailey learned that the gun which Carla had wielded during a stand-off at the garage with his uncle, Kevin Webster, was missing.
Fiona warned that they were all at risk if it was not returned. It was found by Jodie Ramsey, who was then seen heading back to No.8 Coronation Street, where she was confronted by David Platt, who was waving around a bag of David the dog's poo, before she needed to hide the weapon.
Revealing all about Fiona's return, Vinta told Inside Soap: "Yes, I can say that Fiona is coming back – she's played by this wonderful actress, Sara Poyzer, who delivers a very sterling, powerful performance. Fiona makes something happen on the Street which gets Idris and Ronnie to lock heads together. In true Corrie fashion, you can expect some explosive behaviour."
It comes after Sara and Corrie star Sally Carman-Duttine appeared to be enjoying a fun-filled break away from the cobbles. Last month, Sara shared a smiling picture of herself and Sally, which she captioned on her Instagram Story: "Wasn't that fun," before adding heart emojis and what appeared to be the Croatian flag.

Resharing the post with her own Instagram followers, Sally wrote: "The absolute funnest!" She has also since reshared a video from Sara's page in which they could be seen donning snorkels as they explored water-filled caves. "Best.Day.Ever!" she gushed as Sara called them "cave dwellers".
The trip came after Sally, as well as co-stars Sue Devaney and Jonathan Howard, who play Debbie and Carl Webster in Corrie, were seen earlier this year enjoying a night out at the theatre together, where they got to see Sara in action.
They headed to watch Mamma Mia! in the West End and alongside pictures of Sara with Jonathan, Sally and Sue on stage, Mamma Mia The Musical shared on Instagram at the time: "Saturday night saw the MAMMA MIA! cast joined by some very familiar faces from Coronation Street @mrjonathanhoward @suedevaney13 @sally_carman__.
"It won’t be long until our very own Donna, Sara Poyzer, joins them in Weatherfield — filming begins soon and you’ll see Sara on screen later this summer." They also added: "We LOVE this throwback image of when Sue Devaney was Rosie to Sara's Donna in MAMMA MIA!’s International Tour #MammaMiaMusical #MammaMiaLondon."
