The follow-up to 2022's 'Heavy Steps' features collaborations with Spiritbox's Courtney LaPlante and Incendiary's Brendan Garrone
Don't call it a comeback, but they're… well, back! Winnipeg hardcore heroes Comeback Kid have announced the forthcoming release of their eighth studio album.
The follow-up to 2022's Heavy Steps and the 2024 Trouble EP, Chosen Hell arrives November 6 via Dine Alone Records. Recorded with producer/engineer Will Putney at his Graphic Nature Audio studio in New Jersey, the 11-track outing features collaborations with Spiritbox's Courtney LaPlante and Incendiary's Brendan Garrone.
Comeback Kids have shared the news alongside the record's title track, which confronts morality and ethics. "Something as simple as right or wrong. Good or evil. Healthy or unhealthy, and our ability to make a choice," vocalist Andrew Neufeld explained in a press release. "Often, we are incapable of choosing the right thing, and we find ourselves in situations that we know hold us back, therefore affecting our own wellbeing. The outcome is what we make of it."
