Veteran 10News sports reporter Robb Waters has accepted a voluntary redundancy, exiting the network after 22 years.
The journalist, who completed his last day with Channel Ten on Friday, shared a statement on social media thanking his followers for their years of support.
'Some personal news… after 22 years today is my last day at Channel Ten. I've happily accepted a voluntary redundancy,' Waters began.
'I'd like to thank Ch 10 for the support and all the great opportunities that came my way. A big thanks to my many work colleagues. I'm excited for what's ahead. Go Pies!'
Waters worked as both a sports presenter and match commentator with Ten throughout his tenure at the network.
He was renowned for his upbeat and enthusiastic presenting style, as he reported on the biggest events in both the AFL and Australian cricket.

Fellow 10News presenter Caty Price paid tribute to Waters on Friday during a special on-air segment.
'It is a sad day for all of us at 10 as we bid farewell to Rob Waters after an incredible innings of 22 years,' Price began.
'He's been a giant of Melbourne's sporting media who always cut to the heart of a story to deliver the big moments in sport to you at home. To us, he has been a great friend and colleague.'
Price finished by saying that Waters 'is an absolute legend' and in tribute to him she would say something that she normally never would.
Waters' exit comes almost one month after one of Ten's most respected newsroom leaders was revealed to be departing the network after more than two decades.
10 News+ executive producer Daniel Sutton accepted a voluntary redundancy, with the announcement made in an all-staff email on Monday, August 3.
Sutton had been a fixture at the broadcaster for more than 20 years, holding a string of senior editorial positions during his tenure, including serving as Ten's US correspondent before taking the helm of 10 News+ ahead of its launch last year.
