Bristol Rovers hosted their first fans' forum of the 2026/27 season, two days before their League Two opener against York City.
Questions were put to Chief Executive Officer Ritchie Bates and manager Steve Evans by BBC Radio Bristol's Richard Hoskin, covering a number of topics.
This included the plans for the club to increase the capacity of the Mem by over 200 fans in the next couple of months, the success of the fanzone this summer, potential incomings between now and September 1, as well as Rovers' ambitions to be a Championship club.

Rovers have already been installed as one of the promotion favourites in the fourth tier, following the end of last season, which saw them finish nine unbeaten. The Gas have made 11 summer signings, with Evans looking to win a 10th promotion in his managerial career.
The manager was given a contract until 2028 in April, and the first question to the Scotsman was about his honest vision for the club in the next couple of years.
He said: "Where we could be in two years is where I envisaged when I first joined Rotherham back in 2012, 2013, whenever it was. I said to the Chairman, we could go to the Championship if everyone pulled in the same direction.
"This football club has the ownership model that's needed to give you success. It has the infrastructure in terms of the fanbase, and hopefully, we put players on the pitch that can win enough games.
"This season is just about concentrating on the initial steps, which is to compete at the top end of this league, and if we get through that, then I'm confident we'll build on that.
"So, my genuine answer is we'll be competing to be in the Championship in two years, if not already in it."
He added that he thinks Rovers can finish in the top three this season, but acknowledged the strength of teams like Salford City and Port Vale, saying that "six or seven clubs" will think that they can challenge for the automatic promotion places.
Bates echoed Evans' sentiments, saying that "the club wants to go as high as possible," and that making The Mem and The Quarters "the best it can be," is essential.
