Blueface was detained at gunpoint after police responded to what appeared to be a swatting call while the rapper was livestreaming with his girlfriend, Nevaeh Akira, and their newborn baby.
Footage circulating on X showed multiple armed officers confronting the rapper, who followed police orders to kneel with his hands raised before being handcuffed.
The reported encounter unfolded during a livestream on Sunday, 23 August, just days after Blueface and Akira welcomed their first child together. It also came about a month after the rapper was targeted in another reported swatting incident at his Canyon Country home.
Footage from the incident showed Blueface kneeling on the ground with his hands raised as armed officers surrounded him. He was then handcuffed as police secured the scene and searched the premises.

What prompted the police response remains unclear, although two claims have circulated online. One claimed officers were responding to a report of a shooting at King of Crabs, a Santa Clarita seafood restaurant associated with Blueface. However, authorities had not publicly confirmed the location of the reported incident or the nature of the emergency call at the time of writing.
Another claim can be heard in footage circulating online, with an apparent caller alleging that Blueface, whose real name is Jonathan Porter, had punched his fiancée in the face.
Neither account has been independently confirmed. Authorities had not yet released a public statement explaining the police response, and Blueface had not publicly addressed the incident at the time of publication.
The police response came just days after Blueface and Akira welcomed their first child together. Their son, Johnathan Jamall Porter Jr, was born on 18 August after Akira's labour was livestreamed on Kick.
The baby arrived about five days before Akira's expected 24 August due date and weighed eight pounds. The couple later shared footage from the hospital, including Blueface holding his newborn son.
During the latest incident, Akira was seen holding her newborn son as officers searched her before escorting her away from the immediate scene.
There was no report that Akira or the baby was injured during the police response.

The latest incident follows a previous swatting at Blueface's Canyon Country home on 21 July. Deputies responded after receiving a report of a shooting involving a woman at the property.
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station spokesperson Shirley Miller said officers found no injured person and determined the call was a swatting.
